                                                  (No More Tears My Love)

            A girl about 17 falls in love with a boy at school. The boy doesn’t notice this girl because he has his girl friend with him at school and in the same class, also he is really popular. This girl named Rose stares at him whenever she can, she sees his lovely figure rising and moving around. While she stares at him she falls more and more in love. The boy doesn’t notice her staring he just does what usually does, moving around like he always does that’s what Rose thought.

           Then in one fateful class that they shared together she was walking around and hit her head on the lat pull down  on the machine that was swinging back and forth because someone had forgotten to put it back up. She tried dodging it again, but he caught it and laughed. He thought it was very cute all she did was smile back and turn around. What was she suppose to say? She couldn’t go up too him and say I love you right?

           The following days she just thought and talked only about him. Her friend’s kept making fun of her because she was always in a daze when she talked about him, though she didn’t mind the laughter. It just meant that her friend’s cared for her in some odd way. She loved him she really did. She loved his laughter, his eyes, and his personality. Or so she thought.

       Then her heart was finally shattered when during a class, she was working with another girl. They were pasting and cutting things for the teacher. He came up to the girl and talked to her. The other girl asked him if he wanted to glue. He said no, and then Rose asked him if he wanted to cut the paper instead? He stared at Rose and said “Why are you talking to me, I don’t even know you.”

           All the girl could do was turn around and continue doing what she was doing. Her heart was hurting and she wanted to leave, she fought the tears as best as she can. She just stood there cutting the papers and thinking about what happened, over and over again. Then the final bell rung she ran home to her safety which was her room. There she cried and cried. Thinking of only him, she then promised herself never to care about him anymore.

          She came to school, walked with her friends. Talked and played around. He came in but she didn’t even look above. She just ignored him. She started to laugh at the picture the teacher drew and so did everyone else. Jack finally noticed her. He secretly known she was looking at him, he saw how she wasn’t looking at him anymore. He was the one staring now. He saw how beautiful she is. He felt stupid for never noticing, how her blond hair lays on her shoulders and, how her bangs come across her face and she would always blow them away.

         Sometimes they wouldn’t move so she blew till her face turned red. He laughed randomly when he saw that. Then she did it, he laughed really loud. Everyone stared at him because they were doing a test and he laughed randomly. He looked around and tried to think of something fast to say. “Oh sorry but I just noticed there is bird poop on the teachers shirt. Sorry.” Everyone noticed it too and laughed but not Rose. He wondered why.

        Everyone was leaving because the bell had gone. Though Rose stayed so Jack did too he wanted to know why she is ignoring him. Then he saw his best friend Zack waiting too. They were waiting because Zack gave Rose a note during math class to wait for him after school.  Then his friend came up to Rose and asked her if she wanted to hang out. Jack was furious. How can he ask her out? He kept thinking. To his surprise she said no thank you. His friend just walked away. Then he came up to her and kissed her. She just looked back with eyes open with surprise. He was surprised too.

“Um I’m sorry I don’t know why I did that. Um.” He was in a daze. He couldn’t think at all.

 “Hey we all have accidents I guess.” She said.

 “Hey baby what you are doing here” His girlfriend had come in. Rose and Jack looked at each other.

  Rose said “Jack wanted some help on his math homework since I’m a nerd at it. He was just asking me. “

  Jack looked surprised then said “Yeah I’m not good at math so I thought to ask her.”

 “Oh you should have asked me.” Jennifer replied.

 “Okay honey.” He answered. Then they both left, Jack looked back at Rose who had a tear fall down from her eye. He felt bad, he had hurt her feelings. So he dropped Sarah off and went back to see Rose. Lucky for him she was still there. He saw her crying, so he ran up to her and put his arms around her. Rose froze, she could smell his sweet scent so close to her. So close holding her. Then she said

  “You shouldn’t do this you have a girlfriend. Please I don’t want to be responsible for you two breaking up.”

   “Don’t worry.” That is all he said and he hugged her tighter. Then he let his arms fall beside him and he looked her in the eyes. She looked back into his deep green eyes. While he saw her blue eyes sparkle from the light. He leaned in and she did. She softly closed her eyes and he kissed her. His lips on hers, it was a kiss full of passion. That’s when Zack came in.

   “What are you two doing?” Was all Zack asked? Jack and Rose stared at each other.

   “Nothing he was teaching me how to kiss good because I’m not that good and I needed help. That’s why I didn’t accept your offer. I’m sorry.” Rose said embarrassed.

   “Oh thanks Jack, so will you go with me now?” He asked Rose. Rose had to say yes or else Jack would get in trouble. She got up and hugged him.

  “Yeah that would be great.” She smiled up to him. Jack was hurt but he understood why she did that. He was falling for her and her sweet kiss was still lingering in his mind. Then he saw her grab her stuff and whisper a bye to Jack and she left.

 “Later man.” Zack said to Jack. All Jack did was wave bye. Then he saw her leave with him. He saw them hand in hand, leaving him behind. He was deeply hurt. He forced himself up and walked to his house. Went to his room and fell on the bed. He kept thinking about her about her soft skin soft kiss and soft lips. He fell asleep and had a dream about her. It was a dream about her sleeping beside him, about them sharing their love. He found himself crying when he woke up because he knew it can’t be because his friend loved her and he was dating her.

         The following weeks were like hell. He forced himself to get up and go to school. He was forced to see Rose and Zack holding hands. He was forced to see how Zack’s arm was always around Rose’s neck. He hated seeing how she laughed when he tried to kiss her but she dodged. It was so adorable for other people but for Jack it was torture. He loved her and loved no one else. He wanted her. He wanted her ever single hour of every single day. He wanted to hold her and tell her how beautiful she is. He wanted to tell her that he loves her. He knew that it could not be because he loved her and loving her would only hurt her.

   “Baby what’s wrong? You are so out of it.” Jennifer asked Jack with a worried look in her eye. Jack looked down at his girlfriend, and saw in her eyes worry. He knew he had to break up with her. He can’t keep hurting her like this. He did not love her.

  “Jennifer…we need to talk.” Jack told Jennifer without meeting her eyes. Jennifer nodded. She knew this was going to happen, she knew he was leaving her. The tears were already starting to form. “I think you are better off with someone who cares more for you. I don’t deserve you. I’m sorry.” Jack said in a soft voice. Tears began falling from her eyes.

 “I don’t deserve you. You are to perfect for me. If you think this is right then look me in the. Jack looks me in the eye.” Jennifer said. Jack took a deep breath and met her gaze. She gasped. What she saw in Jack’s eyes was sadness. Such a strong force that she ran from the room. That was the last time Jack saw Jennifer. Jennifer had left and moved away. She did not want to see his face again. His eyes will haunt her forever, but she told herself that she will find someone better and face her future. She will not give up.

   “Soccer tryouts ladies and gentlemen, after school right on the field.” The annocement said. Jack smiled finally something I am good at that will take my mind of her. Jack looked over and met Rose’s gaze. He smiled at her surprised to see her staring at him. She tilted her head and mouthed see you there. He turned around. Surprised to know she wants to meet him.

  “Hey Jack how you been man?” Zack asked Jack. Jack smiled at him.

  “I’ve been good, I could be better but I’m alright. What about you? I see your happy with Rose” Jack answered.

   “Yeah she is really something. The perfect girl I’d say. She is so adorable and yet so tough. I think I really like her.” Zack replied with a smile. Jack’s face turned bitter. Look how happy he is while here I am suffering. Zack looked Jack in the eye and all color from his face disappeared.  “Wow Jack you pissed or something?” Zack asked.

   “Yeah a bit I will be fine.” Jack replied. Then the teacher came in and gave the lesson. Jack kept stealing glances at Rose. She was focusing really hard. She was trying her best not to look at Jack. Finally the bell rang and she and jack both dashed to the door, but got stopped because they couldn’t both go through. Everyone stared at them. They both turned around. Jack puts his arm on his head and laughed. Rose laughed. Then everyone else began laughing. They both looked so silly it was adorable.

   Then Rose excused herself and ran out. Straight to the change room and she changed. Jack did the same. Rose ran to the field after she finished and sat down. She was the first one there. They had to be here in 10 more minutes but she came early because Jack would meet her here. Jack ran up to the field and saw Rose sitting on the grass shivering because it was cold. He laughed at how cute she was. Rose turned around and saw him. She waved. He waved back. He walked towards her and sat down on the grass beside her. 

  “So why did you ask to meet you here?” Jack asked Rose. Rose bit her lip then looked at him.

  “I can’t seem to stop thinking about you. It was worse then before. I liked you a lot before, well starting this year. It’s kind of weird I loved your best friend that moved and now I like you. I’m not sure where I am going with this but all I can say is I love you. I just had to get it out.” Rose answered in a soft voice. Jack was stunned, he could not believe it. She loved him. Jack lifted her chin up so he can look at her face.

  “I love you too.” He then leaned in and kissed her.

  “What the hell are you doing with my girlfriend Jack?” They both heard Zack’s voice and turned to see him standing there.

   “Zack I need to tell you something.” Rose said.

   “No you don’t, don’t tell me you got sucked in by my best friend wait ex best friend’s way of getting a girl. Damn it Rose I thought you were better then that.” Zack said in a voice full of anger.

   “Zack listen, I did not fall for any of his tricks. I just fell in love with him. He is so sweet yet you think he plays people. You are wrong, Zack I didn’t want to hurt you this way. I’ve loved him for a long time.” Rose said with tears coming down from her eyes.

  “Zack I’m really sorry.” Jack said. Zack stared at him, and then laughed.

  “You’re sorry? You know what you are really full of it. Every girl I’ve ever wanted you stole.” Zack said. Then ran and punched Jack. Rose got in between them. She tripped Zack then pushed Jack because he had begun to fight back.

  “Ugh seriously guys, stop being ego freaks and relax.” Rose said. Zack and Jack began laughing. Rose looked at them with raised eyebrows.

   “Great we got beat up by a girl. We sure suck and should not be allowed on the football team or the soccer team.” Zack said.

   “Who knew we liked a girl that could beat us up.” Jack answered. They both laughed.

 Rose stuck her tongue out at them and laughed.

  “Jack you can have her, I do not want to be the one who gets beat up everyday. Good luck man.” Zack said teasingly. Then he got up and walked away. Jack stared at his best friend and thought of how he was so kind.

  “I’m glad that you two are still friends.” Rose said with a smile. He looked back at her and smiled.

   “Yeah he is really a good friend.” Jack said. “I’m glad now that we can be together.” Jack added. Rose smiled.

   “Yeah we can finally be together.” Rose said. Then she gave him a hug. They heard giggling and turned to see younger kids coming from a different school. They both laughed. The coach and the other students arrived. They began the tryouts. They put the boys and the girls together so they could show some equal skill. Rose teamed up with Jack. They were really good together. They were laughing all the time. Rose looked up because she felt someone looking at her and saw five girls staring at her.

   “Oh don’t mind them; they are just my fan club. I hate having one though.” Jordan said looking at Rose’s face.  “Besides you can beat them up.” Jordan added laughing. Rose punched his arm teasingly. They then continued practicing.

   “Tryouts are done. You can go change, we will post who made it tomorrow.” The coach said. Rose grabbed all the balls and put them away because the coach told her to do so before she goes. Jordan helped Rose out. They then walked into the school.

   “Meet me in the front okay?” Jordan asked Rose. Rose nodded then walked into the change room. She was met with a lot of glares. She opened her locker and changed. She looked up.

   “Umm do you really like staring at a girl changing?” Rose said. Then they all looked away. One girl laughed. Rose quickly changed and left to meet Jack. He was standing with his back against the wall his earphones in his ear. His jet black hair put up in spikes, and his sparkling blue eyes looking down. She smiled. He was so handsome. She walked towards him. He looked up and smiled at her. He took his earphones out. “So what did you want?” She asked him.

   “I wanted to ask if you wanted me to walk you home, because a pretty girl like you shouldn’t walk alone.” Jack said. Rose laughed.

   “I think it would be alright but I want you to walk me home.” Rose said blushing. Jordan nodded. He fought himself from hugging her. She was so cute. He coughed to get her attention. He put his hand out beside him as to tell her to hold it. She smiled and put her hand next to his. His fingers and hers intertwined. They both blushed and walked out the doors. They kept walking onto the path between the trees. Rose was to shy to say anything and Jack was fighting himself. So there was no conversation.

    “Well here we are.” Rose said, looking up at her house. Her house was really pretty. It was a nice shade of brown with white doors, and large windows. It was a small cozy house that Rose and her mother lived together. Her father traveled a lot so they didn’t need a large house. Jack nodded. Rose smiled at him and waved goodbye. He wanted to kiss her but he knew if he did he would not stop. He waved goodbye and waited till she was inside. He wanted to make sure she was safe. He then walked to his condo. Jack owned his own place because his parents always moved around and he wanted to stay in one spot. So they let him have his own place as long as his grades were okay. His parents were really rich so this didn’t seem like much.

    “Hello my empty place.” Jack said to his apartment that was filled with things but not one of these things are living. He was alone him and his furniture. He signed. He fell on his couch and thought of Rose. He then drifted into sleep. Six hours later he was awaken by a knock on the door. He wiped his eye and went and opened the door. He looked up and saw Zack and behind him was Rose.

   “Hey Rose was worried about you when I told her you lived alone. She thought you couldn’t feed yourself so she forced me to come show her the way.” Zack said. Rose smiled up at Jack. He smiled back. He was so happy; she had come to see him because she was worried.

    “Here you go. Healthy foods so don’t expect junk food.” She told him. She brought out a container filled with rice, meat and some vegetables. Then brought another one filled with cut up fruits. She brought out a bottle filled with orange juice. She really meant healthy. He smelled it when she opened everything. It smelled delicious. She had made him dinner. How cute.

   “Enjoy. I brought enough for all three of us.” Rose said. Everyone ate. It was really good. The meat was made really well. The rice had spices in it that made it even more delicious.

  “Wow you really can cook.” Zack said. Rose smiled at him.

  “Yeah you will be some really good wife.” Jack smiled at her. She blushed. Zack got up.

  “Well I really have to get going I got to study or else I will be kicked off the football team. Bye.” Zack said. Rose and Jack waved goodbye. Before Zack left he said “Jack behave yourself.” He laughed and closed the door after him.

   “What did he mean by that?” Rose asked with suspicion in her voice. Jack laughed and looked away whistling. “Mean perverted old man!” Rose told Jack, and then stuck her tongue at him.

  “Hey I’m only a year older; also you will be the same age soon. Also I’m not perverted, sometimes.” Jack said smiling, showing his adorable dimples and white teeth that made rose want to faint.

  “You are so cute for a guy!” Rose said laughing.

  “Hey what’s that suppose to mean?” Jack said with shock in his voice. Rose smiled at him.

   “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Rose answered hiding another smiling from coming.

    “Well you have to remember you are in a “old man’s” room, all alone.” He smiled at her. Rose gasped. “I am coming to eat you.” Jack said laughing and began tickling Rose. Rose tried running away.

    “Stop.” She tried saying through her laughs. They both fell on the couch breathing heavy, for they had laughed way too much. Their eyes met and Jack smiled at Rose. He mouthed I love you. Rose gasped, then kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear; “I love you too.” He wrapped his arms around her. They heard a song come on from Rose’s phone. “Oh no it is my parents, I should go. Bye.” Rose told Jack.

    “Want me to walk you home?” Jack asked her.

    “No I’ll be fine. Bye.” Rose told her. She quickly kissed him on the lips then left. Jack went to his room and fell on his bed. What a night he thought. The next morning Jack woke up and got dressed. He walked to Rose’s house to walk with her to school. She was waiting for him outside in her light gray jacket with her black hat on. She smiled up at him and they walked to school together. When they arrived at school all eyes were on them.

   “Well I have to go talk with my friends for a second, wait for me here?” Jack asked Rose. Rose nodded and watched as her boyfriend walked away. She felt someone grabbing her by the arm and pulling her into a bush. Her eyes got covered with a cloth; she felt herself being carried somewhere. She heard female voices talking, she tried screaming but another cloth was placed on her mouth.

   “Alright remove the cloths.” A girl said. They removed the cloths and Savanna saw Jack’s fan club surrounded around a boy. He was the enemy of Jack’s. His name is Mark.

   “Are you sure this is the girl? She doesn’t look like Jack’s type.” Mark said. The girl beside him nodded. “Well hello then. From now on you are going to be my girlfriend.” Mark said with a smile. Rose’s eyes opened wide.

  “Never. I love Jack and not you.” Rose screamed at him. Mark laughed. Mark had brown hair, green eyes and a pretty smile. He was also very smart and athletic.

   “Well you don’t have a choice, either date me or I will tell Jack about what happened yesterday at night.” Mark said with a grin on his face.

   “What do you mean?” Rose asked.

   “You were with that guy, walking and laughing with him as he walked you from Jack’s house.” Mark said. Rose laughed.

   “That would be my best friend. He is interested in men so no big deal.” Rose said.

   “Well he said otherwise, he said that he loves you and would tell Jack that he and you make out all the time.” Mark said. Rose’s eyes opened wide. How could JJ do that to her?

“I think you are wondering why he would do that. Well you see he loved you for a long time. He wants you and he decided he would let me have you for a bit then he can have you.” Mark said.

   “What did you do to JJ?” Rose asked. Mark laughed.

   “Well we are all human, and we all want power and we are greedy. I just put the ideas in his head. He was the one to make the decision.” Mark answered.

   “I understand.” Rose said. She knew she had to do this or else Jack would be really hurt.

   “Good. Now I shall go with you so I can see the face Jack has when you tell him its over.” Mark said laughing. Rose and Mark walked together. Rose saw Jack and tapped on his shoulder. He turned around smiling when he saw it was Rose.

   “Hey missed me already?” He said smiling. Rose could not meet his eyes.

   “Jack we have to break up. I love Mark now. I’m sorry.” Rose said with sadness in her voice. Jack’s smile faded away. He looked at Mark then saw they were holding hands.

   “What? Rose why?” Jack asked.

   “I love Mark I’m sorry it’s over, now leave me alone.” Rose said quickly with a lot of effort. She was crying but she did not dare to look up and let Jack see. She walked away with Mark. Jack was hurt; his heart was in so much pain. He watched as his love walked away with another man.

  Weeks went by, and Jack was getting sadder. His grades were falling; his athletic skills began to disappear. He had to force himself to go to school. He didn’t talk to anyone. He was depressed. He was angry; Rose his beautiful love is gone. He watched as Rose walked with Mark in the halls. Rose was also sad. She didn’t want to go to school and see Mark. She just wanted Jack. She wasn’t eating enough, and she had stopped talking to her friends.

     One day, JJ came up to Jack and told him everything. Jack was mad, how could JJ do that to Rose.

     “I’m sorry Jack; I’d rather see Rose happy with you then see her like a dead zombie with Mark. So please go win her back.” JJ told Jack.

     “Thanks I’m going now.” He waved to JJ and ran to find her. He can’t be mad at JJ, he just loved Rose but he put that aside to save her. He ran to the gym and saw Mark leaning on Rose kissing her neck. Rose was yelling at him to stop. She tried to push him. Mark was stronger then Rose so he could keep her like that.

    “Why is it Rose you are the only girl who doesn’t want me?” Mark said.

    “It is because you are a dirty pig. Please stop it.” Rose begged Mark. Jack couldn’t take it, he ran to Mark and pulled him away from Rose. He punched Mark in the eye. Mark fought back. They were evenly matched but Rose as always came between them. She came between them. They both stopped fighting. “As much as I want to see him bleeding to death, I think you should stop Jack.” Jack looked at her. She was so sweet and kind. He nodded at Rose. Rose helped Jack begin to walk out of the gym.

      “I see why you love her; she is everything any guy would want. I’ll leave you alone.” Mark said. Jack glared at him, but left with Rose. Rose led Jack to the nurse’s room and wiped the blood from his nose. He smiled at her, Rose hugged him tight.

   “Never leave me again, you got it!” Jack told Rose in a loud voice. Rose nodded into his shoulder. Jack could feel the tears fall on his shoulder. He put his arms around her.

“No More Tears My love.” Jack told Rose in a comforting voice. When Rose had stopped crying, she looked Jack in the eye then kissed him.

    “I love you Jack.” Rose said to Jack. Jack smiled his perfect smile and kissed Rose.

  Five years later, we find out Mark has finally found a girl as obnoxious as him. They love each other a lot and are always in fights but they always call JJ to help them find who is wrong. The perfect couple you could say. Mark became a famous scholar who is loved and known by all. JJ becomes a councilor because of his help with Mark’s relationship. He figured it was the job for him. He also found a girl as precious as Rose; he loves her a lot.

     Jennifer is a college professor at such a young age, she has a lot of boys who want her but she is not settling for anyone. She still wants Jack, but she knows there isn’t a chance of that happening. Rose and Jack are living happily together in Jack’s apartment. Rose is world known cook now and Jack become doctor and a famous football player. They love each other more then ever. Jack’s parents are visiting all the time, tasting Rose’s amazing cooking skills. Jack has never been happier. You can say that there is a happy ending in life, but what how are we to know that if life hasn’t finished yet.
